Senior Category Manager

Location: London

Hybrid: 3/4 days per week in the office

Alexander Lloyd are delighted to be once again partnering with an instantly recognisable, highly desirable global brand on the hire of a Senior Category Manager on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for key categories
  • Manage supplier negotiations, contracts, and risk mitigation
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure procurement aligns with business goals
  • Oversee the full procurement cycle, including tenders and contract management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team to drive best practices and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory obligations

Skills & Experience

  • MCIPS qualification preferred
  • Strong contract negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
  • Ability to manage projects under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in procurement systems
