We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Events Team Leader to handle the set up and service of catering for meetings, conferences, workshops, and receptions at Victoria & Albert Museum.

About the Events Team Member role:

Assist in setting up and breaking down events spaces, including table arrangements and buffet stations.
Set up and service of coffee, teas, beverages, and food for meetings and conferences. Efficiently manage the arrangement of breakfast and wine receptions, maintaining exceptional presentation and service standards.
Support events staff during receptions, ensuring seamless delivery of service in accordance with clients\’ expectations. Provide ongoing guidance and support to uphold excellent service throughout each event.
Brief the events team on event details, including timings, clients\’ requirements, and service expectations.
Maintain cleanliness and storage of crockery, glassware, and other catering equipment following daytime deliveries and setups. Ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned, properly stored, and prepared for future use.
Maintain high standards of food safety and health regulations at all times.
Assume managerial responsibilities in the absence of the manager, ensuring continuity of service and operations.
