We are seeking an inspiring individual to launch and lead the studio function of Pubity Group. This is a rare opportunity to shape and establish a team at the heart of a generational business at an exciting time of growth, producing stories and experiences that genuinely connect with huge numbers of people. The studio will create a wide variety of impactful and spirited work to drive forward our mission of positivity, often in partnership with some of the world’s leading consumer brands.
The VP Solutions is a senior management position, reporting directly to the CEO initially. The role blends strategic, analytical, creative, design, and content production responsibilities, requiring keen operational understanding and attention to detail in order to maintain high standards and ensure smooth workflows through the team as well as other departments.
A major aspect of this role is taking ownership of our product range. Working collaboratively with our social and commercial teams, the studio will lead the charge in developing, defining, and packaging our most compelling strands of content programming, which serve as our lead formats; highly engaging for our communities and our brand partners alike. The studio will produce a broad range of content, from one-offs to seasonal campaigns, and help bring our bigger long-term creative platform ambitions to life, including our social good initiative.
With such a broad ecosystem within Pubity Group - covering sports, pets, film, comedy, and much more - there are endless possibilities for creative expression. It’s essential that the team scales up with versatility and adaptability in mind. We are looking for a proven or emerging leader who can draw on relevant industry experience to realize our studio ambitions. Someone who instills confidence and quality within their own team, is comfortable and engaging with clients, and shares the positive mindset of all our managers in the business.

Leadership
- Align the studio with the core goals, aims, and values of the business.
- Innovate with existing assets and unearth entirely new value-generating opportunities.
- Guide the team to overcome any short-term challenges.

- Be a positive figurehead for the studio and the wider business.

Studio Scope
- Create and evolve a data & insights pillar of the team.
- Set up our strategic function for commercial partnerships and for our own-brand needs.
- Oversee the creative function.
- Grow a design arm of the team to own the overall visual direction, while servicing the various requirements across the business.
- Steer and support the production division, bringing stories and experiences to life for the feed or IRL.
Team Culture
- Be hands-on with recruitment of key personnel; develop trustworthy and capable leaders in each area of the studio.
- Foster a high-expectation culture filled with curiosity, honesty, collaboration, and recognition.
- Communicate and champion department KPIs ensuring everyone is aligned.
- Ensure all personal OKRs are rolled out, and be attentive to individual performance needs.
- Support ongoing training and personal development.
Operational
- Financial management, taking charge of a department budget / P&L.
- Accountable for processes and admin best practices.
- Constant communication and troubleshooting with fellow managers to ensure mutual growth.
- Timely and concise reports provided to CEO as agreed.
- Provide recurring forecasting and performance analysis across the team, issuing clear feedback in the process.
- Be a valued contributor in management meetings and participate in wider business planning with the leadership team.
We require someone with 10+ years of highly relevant career experience, with 2+ years of experience in a similar position, preferably at a disruptive publisher, creative agency, or social platform. A strong reputation and track record prior to that for impactful brand work and media executions is essential. The ideal candidate will show us a deep understanding of the modern consumer landscape, with a genuine interest in how the world of social intersects with commerce and culture, along with the desire and interpersonal skills required to thrive in a booming environment.
