We are an award-winning B-Corp coffee company with a difference; a social enterprise supporting people out of homelessness through our amazing coffee. Since our humble beginnings Change Please has changed a lot with millions of coffees sold, dozens of new sites and brilliant partners supporting our mission. We’ve learnt many lessons along the way but our mission, values and ethos will always remain the same; we produce and serve great tasting coffee with 100% of the profits supporting people who have experienced homelessness get back on their feet. We provide training, employment paying the Living Wage and support with housing, finances and therapy to help people experiencing homelessness move forward. Job Overview As the International Sales Director , you will be pivotal in driving the growth and sustainability of Change Please. This role focuses on two key areas: nurturing and growing our existing client relationships and identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. You will play a critical role in expanding our reach, ensuring our values resonate with partners, and fostering long-term collaborations that enable us to change lives. While previous experience in the coffee industry is not essential, it’s a desirable plus. Key Responsibilities Business Growth: Identify and secure new business opportunities to grow our client base and revenue streams. Develop tailored pitches and proposals that align with potential clients\’ needs and values. Attend industry events and networking opportunities to represent Change Please. Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery. Understand client needs, identifying opportunities to expand partnerships. Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, handling queries and delivering solutions. Strategy and Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Management Team to align business development goals with the company’s overall mission and objectives. Collaborate with marketing, operations, and retail teams to enhance brand presence and drive growth. Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation. Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth onboarding for new clients, aligning with operational capabilities. Develop and monitor KPIs to track progress and performance in both account management and new business development. Skills & Experience Proven experience in a business development or account management role. Strong relationship-building skills with a track record of managing and growing client accounts. Demonstrated success in securing new business and achieving revenue targets. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and act on opportunities for growth. Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities. Experience in the coffee or food and beverage industry is desirable but not essential. Notes This role requires occasional travel to the US and across the UK for client meetings and industry events. Flexible working hours may be required to meet business needs.
