SAP SD Consultant

SAP SD Consultant – English Speaking – West Midlands, UK (Hybrid: 50% Remote work / 50% Onsite). Start Date: May/June 2025. Permanent (in-house) Job. Up to £80,000/annum Base Salary + Benefits. End Client.

Our end client, who is a world leader in the production and discrete manufacturing sector with over 100 years of history, is looking to hire an experienced SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) Consultant, to take a key role in the roll-out of SD to new locations globally within ECC before moving to SAP S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Understand the needs of our business and take a leading role in making SAP a strategic business solution within the company.
2. Advise and support the internal customers in making the best choices for deploying SAP.
3. Play a key role in SAP projects nationally and internationally.
4. Analyse and optimize the current business processes to the business needs.
5. Develop and support the current ECC6 SAP system within the SD module, including support, working on change requests, and playing a significant role in international projects.
6. Create and update the requested documentation, processes, and policies.

Experience needed:

1. Minimum 1 full SAP SD implementation cycle completed.
2. Broad functional experience in the SAP SD module.
3. Some knowledge of Warehousing and SAP WM (Warehouse Management) would be a big advantage, especially around the process of Orders, Delivery, Invoicing, and Barcode Scanner processes.
4. Good knowledge and experience with SAP SD in SAP ECC.
5. Very good understanding of master data within the SD area.
6. Knowledge and understanding of the business process and interface to other SAP modules like FI/CO and WM.
7. Excellent communication skills in English, able to convey messages clearly and succinctly.
8. Willingness to travel in Europe and the US when needed.
9. Open-minded and flexible.
