We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Lead Analyst - Crew Workforce Planning to join our team.
In this role, you will lead the assessment of flight schedules, charters, and flying program changes, iterating and optimising flight and cabin crew workforce plans. You will ensure robust and validated modelling through productivity analysis, key performance indicators (KPIs), and proactive scenario evaluation. Your work will directly support decision-making on recruitment, training requirements, achievable flying programme scale/fleet mix, and deliverable productivity. You will also manage the long-term pilots and cabin crew establishment plan, providing regular updates to Recruitment, Training, Flight Ops/Cabin Services, and Finance. This includes tracking FTE data vs. budget, identifying shortages or surpluses, and enabling proactive decision-making with recruitment and training teams. Additionally, you will own the five-year crew establishment plan, ensuring alignment with business strategy while supporting schedule validation and strategic planning.
Day to Day: Some of your key responsibilities will be:
- Lead the planning, assessment, and optimisation of crew workforce needs, developing data-driven models to forecast requirements, assess productivity, and evaluate scenarios.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Flight Operations, Cabin Services, and Training, to align workforce plans with business objectives and operational needs.
- Analyse and report on crew establishment levels, training demands, and productivity metrics, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Track and manage crew assumptions, proactively adjusting plans to mitigate workforce risks, maintain operational efficiency, and support recruitment and training strategies.
- Support analysts in using the AIMs pairings generator to derive optimal crew pairings while driving process improvements and enhancing workforce planning tools.
- Provide support for ad hoc analysis and scenario planning as required, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

- Educated to degree level, ideally (but not essential) in a Mathematical, Business, or Analytical discipline.
- Highly proficient in Power BI/ Tableau, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. (SQL is an advantage)
- Strong analytical and problems solving skills, with experience in data modelling, scenario evaluation, and handling large datasets.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex data into clear insights for stakeholders.
- Relevant experience in workforce planning (preferred).
- Experience with crew management systems and working knowledge of EASA FTL/FRM regulations (preferred).
