As a Service Electrical Engineer, you'll support the installation, commissioning, modification, and maintenance of Low Voltage (415V) and Medium Voltage (11kV) switchgear and related equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation: Offloading, aligning, wiring, bolting, testing (Flash, Megger, Ducter), and retrofitting switchgear.
- Pre-commissioning: Check control wiring, mechanical/electrical interlocks, and breaker functionality; input protection relay settings.
- Commissioning (SAT): Conduct full function tests, verify relay settings, and provide detailed site reports.
- Documentation: Complete reports, test certificates, timesheets, and expenses accurately and promptly.
- Communication: Maintain clear and professional verbal and written communication with clients and internal teams.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Strong background in electrical switchgear systems (especially in Oil & Gas/Petrochem industries).
- Skilled in testing electronic protection relays and reading schematic diagrams.
- Experience working on-site in the UK and internationally.
- ONC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Full UK driving licence and legal right to work in the UK.
- Must be eligible for SC Clearance.
