What We\’re Looking For:
We\’re seeking a motivated individual with:

• A Level 3 qualification in Plumbing and Domestic Heating (or equivalent).
• Industry experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of air source heat pumps and solar thermal systems .
• Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching.
• A relevant teaching qualification (or the willingness to achieve one within two years).

Your Role:
As a Plumbing Lecturer, you\’ll:

• Deliver engaging lessons to learners on the City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing and Domestic Heating (Phase 4 – Environmental Technologies) .
• Guide students through practical assignments, such as designing, installing, and maintaining air source heat pumps and solar thermal systems.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in workshop environments.
• Provide support to learners to help them excel in their studies and future careers.
• Conduct assessments in line with City & Guilds standards , ensuring accurate records for quality assurance.

Desirable Skills:

• IQA certification or experience in quality assurance.
• Previous teaching or assessing experience in the FE sector.
• Familiarity with City & Guilds 9289 standards and grading requirements.
