About The Role
We are looking for a Manager, Airline Partnerships to join the Supplier Partnerships team at TravelPerk. In this role, you will manage commercial relationships, connectivity strategy, and business development opportunities with global airlines. The ideal candidate will have experience negotiating contractual agreements, presenting data analysis, and building strategic relationships as an account manager and leader. You will have the autonomy to manage and expand the portfolio of airline partners that have a direct impact on TravelPerk’s revenue streams.
What You Will Be Doing
- Manage commercial relationships and negotiations with airline partners.
- Partner with TravelPerk’s Product team to optimize for the best content and connectivity from airline partners.
- Identify, architect, and recommend additional revenue opportunities across the airline ecosystem.
- Champion commercial oversight over the following: Incentive strategy, Portfolio performance, Revenue Forecasting, Marketing Opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with relevant teams such as Product, Finance, Legal, Marketing, and Sales to align on strategic initiatives.
- Identify content gaps and functionality with airline suppliers.
- Conduct revenue and cost analysis to determine optimal content distribution strategy.
- Represent TravelPerk at industry events and continue to build brand and value recognition in the industry.
What You Will Need To Succeed
- 3+ years of experience working in the travel industry.
- Knowledgeable in various airline content distribution strategies.
- Understanding of legacy (Edifact) and modern retailing (NDC) capabilities.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills in English.
- Proficient analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with airlines, as well as knowledge of supplier partnership management practices is a plus.
