IWR CIO Technology Strategy Associate – London Salary Circa £55,000.

This role will suit someone who wants to make an impact at the highest levels of Aviva’s CIO organisation and enjoys working at a fast pace. A bit about the job:

This role will support the CIO function, IWR CIO, IWR CIO SLT and in turn the wider department in developing and refining Aviva’s IWR CIO technology strategy and turning this into engaging communications for stakeholder engagement. The IWR CIO Strategy Associate is a key role in the IWR CIO’s team, responsible for driving the underlying analysis behind the team’s strategic insights and recommendations as well as running workstreams on strategy projects from time to time. The role delivers value to Aviva by enabling high-quality technology-focused management decision-making at the highest levels.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Proven problem-solving skills and good ability to structure and frame solutions.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good understanding of basic business strategy concepts and why some businesses succeed and others fail.
• Experience of working in a technology department / a strong interest in technology.

What you’ll get for this role:

• Salary: Circa £55,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
• Bonus opportunity – 10% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
