Position: Science Teacher (KS3-KS5). Location: Woking, Surrey. Contract: Full‑Time / Part‑Time & Permanent / Supply. Start Date: April 2025. Salary: MPS / UPS (depending on experience).

About the Role

Teach science across KS3 to KS5, covering core subjects within biology, chemistry, and physics.
Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons that align with the National Curriculum and inspire a love for science.
Prepare students for GCSE & A‑Level exams by promoting critical thinking, scientific curiosity, and problem‑solving skills.
Collaborate with the science department to develop resources and share best practices.
Track and assess student progress, offering tailored feedback and support to ensure students reach their potential.

Candidate Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in science.
Proven experience teaching science up to KS5, with strong knowledge of the GCSE & A‑Level curriculum.
A commitment to inclusive, student‑centred learning that caters to diverse abilities and backgrounds.
Strong communication and organisational skills, with a proactive approach to classroom management.
A passion for science and the drive to inspire curiosity and achievement in students.
