The Assistant Accountant will be fully trained on all internal systems to take responsibility for several accounting processes. The candidate should have excellent attention to detail and thrive on work that is often fast-paced and challenging. As Assistant Management Accountant at our North London Wembley office you will:
- Monthly reconciliation with the lender of the company’s IDF facility
- Complete daily, mid-month and end of month payment runs
- Prepare monthly reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts and investigate variances to support the month end process
- Complete monthly billing for MSP customers
- Provide ad-hoc finance support to the sales team to resolve queries
- Ensure the credit card account is reconciled monthly and postings up to date
- General accounts administration including dealing with correspondence etc.
The ideal Assistant Management Accountant will have the following skills and experience:
- AAT qualified or progressing towards qualification
- Understanding of financial reporting concepts
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
- Highly literate in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to prioritise to meet deadlines
- Clear spoken and written English is essential

The role is a mix of home working and office-based days, candidates should therefore have a reasonable commute to our Wembley office. Working hours 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Initially a 12-month fixed term contract as Maternity cover.
