We are seeking an individual as e-Billing Manager to take responsibility for the ongoing daily management of all CO Group's e-Billing ensuring the timely and accurate submission of invoices to our clients' chosen e-Billing portals. This role can be based in one of our Jersey, Southampton, or London offices.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop direct reports to ensure that all team objectives and e-Billing deadlines and targets are achieved.
  • In conjunction with the group revenue manager, lead the e-billing and e-Billing Hub improvements.
  • Manage the list of e-billing clients and ensure the timely submission of invoices through the relevant e-billing portals.
  • Develop key performance indicators to ensure objectives are met, and monitor team performance.
  • Proactively work across the CO group ensuring effective stakeholder engagement through a changing and demanding environment.
  • Establish a framework of governance to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of e-billing in line with the Service Levels agreed.
  • Have an active role in the firm’s practice management system, 3E, promoting system utilisation and process improvements.
  • Proactively identify data gaps and work towards solutions, particularly with onboarding requirements.
  • Submission and timely electronic accrual/budget submissions.
  • Liaising with Finance, Partners, and Fee Earners in respect of their unpaid invoices.
  • Assist with external and internal audit requirements, ensuring the timely provision of e-bills along with any supplementary evidence.
  • Assist with the day-to-day administrative support within the team as and when required.

Experience

  • Prior experience of 3E and e-Billing Hub (Elite Enterprise also an advantage).
  • 3 years plus e-billing experience in a law firm.
  • Prior exposure to meeting with and dealing with Partners.
  • Advanced knowledge of standard billing practices and procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
