HLK is an IP powerhouse comprising over 200 people in 7 locations. Our IP specialist lawyers, patent attorneys and trade mark attorneys provide a full suite of IP services advising across the globe and in all technical and scientific disciplines. We are seeking a talented and experienced Solicitor to join our UK team and contribute to our continued success.

You will play a vital role in providing legal counsel and support to our clients in matters related to intellectual property rights. You will work closely with a team of skilled professionals and have the opportunity to handle a variety of challenging IP cases. If you are a driven and experienced solicitor with 2-8 years of PQE in IP law, this is an excellent opportunity to further your career and make a significant impact in a dynamic legal environment. This is an opportunity for either a litigation or a non-contentious specialist, or for someone who would like to keep both options open.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise clients on a wide range of intellectual property issues, including trade mark, copyright, and patent matters.
  • Advise on contentious and non-contentious matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support clients' IP rights and interests.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate IP-related agreements and contracts.
  • Represent clients in IP litigation and disputes when necessary.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop IP protection strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant changes in IP laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Qualified Solicitor with 2-8 years of post-qualification experience in intellectual property law.
  • Strong understanding of intellectual property rights, within contentious and non-contentious contexts.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex cases and meet deadlines.
  • A client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
