This large offshore law firm is looking for an experienced corporate lawyer to take on a key role in its highly respected Corporate / Funds practice. Joining at Senior or Managing Associate level, you will advise on a range of high-value and complex matters, taking a lead in running deals, supervising more junior colleagues, and managing/developing client relationships. It is the perfect opportunity for an ambitious lawyer who is keen to do high-end international work but who craves more hands-on exposure professionally and a more relaxed coastal lifestyle outside of the office. Opportunities for career development/progression are excellent.
The Channel Islands offer a unique environment for a city-based lawyer who thrives on big ticket work but craves an escape from the rat race. Jersey and Guernsey have strong and highly competitive legal sectors, housing teams that number many alumni of the leading London or international outfits amongst their ranks. They do complex blue-chip work, in a nice environment without the trappings of a big law firm culture. Work-life balance tends to be good, leaving plenty of time to enjoy what is an enviable coastal lifestyle, and London is only an hour away making it easy to get that city fix when (or if) you need it.
Process
Interviews will take place by videoconference with start dates typically around 3-4 months later (depending on your notice period). Our clients provide comprehensive assistance with visas (where required) and relocation.

- You will be admitted in the UK, Ireland or in a Commonwealth jurisdiction (e.g. Australia, New Zealand, South Africa).
