We have an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious, target driven, growth minded Senior Business Development Manager who can demonstrate a proven track record in strategic prospecting and pipeline management, as well as achieving significant growth within an existing customer portfolio.

Joining the B2B team, you will be given a small portfolio of existing accounts from within the Contract Catering/Food Service Operator sector, and work with them on a National basis to drive and deliver upon ambitious growth targets within this channel. The main focus in your role will be to develop and manage a pipeline of potential new corporate/B2B accounts by implementing a structured and efficient sales process to bring on board new business.

You will be representing the company’s range of professional water dispenser taps which not only look great and give the user 4-5 different options of fresh, filtered water, but offer an incredible alternative to traditional water cooler dispensers that produce a huge amount of single waste plastic.

Building relationships with various levels of stakeholders nationwide, such as Facilities Managers, Operations Managers/Directors, you will make the wider teams within the FSO’s aware of the benefits of the products, and increase the number of new installations.

This role is predominantly home-based, with the expectation to be out on the road at face-to-face meetings with customers regularly, and at least 1 trip to London per week.

Requirements: To be considered for the Senior Business Development Manager role you will:

  • Have a strong track record as a proactive, new business hunter in a Senior Business Development Manager role.
  • Ideally currently selling into a B2B/Corporate or selling to this sector via Food Service Operators/Contract Caterers.
  • Ideally have experience selling capital equipment and have knowledge of both purchase & rental contracts, as well as offering service and maintenance contracts.
  • Having worked for a large, blue chip organisation would be highly advantageous.

The Package for Senior Business Development Manager:

  • Basic salary up to £50-60,000 depending on experience (+ uncapped commission with generous OTE).
  • Highly competitive car allowance + insurance allowance.

Location: The role of Senior Business Development Manager covers a National remit but candidates will be based no further north than Birmingham and will mainly focus on customers in London.
