As a Front-End Team Lead at Via, you’ll join our R&D center to lead a team of developers, directly contributing to our product by using cutting-edge technologies. You’ll take a critical part in our mission to shape the future of transportation, affecting tens of thousands of riders daily worldwide. You will take a key role and be a focal point on front end architecture.

What You’ll Do:

  • Implement front-end tools & libraries which are used in Via Work and lead a group of talented engineers to create visionary UI/UX products
  • Examine, question and improve - consult and make decisions to move things forward
  • Improve the user experience across Via's platform

Who You Are:

  • BSc. Computer Science or similar
  • Proven experience leading a team of people
  • 4+ years of professional experience
  • Experience with React or similar frameworks
  • 3+ years of experience as a Web Application Developer
  • Map based application development (Mapbox, Google JS SDK, etc…) - Advantage
  • Experience with backend development (Python) - Advantage
