As a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Paediatric Spinal Surgery, you’ll:

• Give holistic, evidence-based care throughout the spinal surgery pathway.
• Work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Advocate for patients, offering specialist nursing advice.
• Drive service development and staff education.
• Use excellent communication skills to enhance patient care.

The ideal Clinical Nurse Specialist will have:

• A Children’s Nursing Qualification (RN Child or RSCN) with valid NMC registration.
• Five years of post-registration experience in children’s nursing.
• Relevant specialist qualification with at least 12 months experience.
• Desirable mentorship qualification and paediatric life support skills.
• Experience in audit, research, and safeguarding processes.

The Clinical Nurse Specialist role offers a comprehensive package, including:
