Are you a time-served Engineer in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a Vehicle or Plant Mechanic looking for a change? Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer wanting to work on electro-mechanical equipment within a niche industry sector? If so, then this could well be the role for you!

You will be joining a business established for over 60 years, with a proven track record in supporting thousands of sites on a contractual basis. Due to ongoing growth, they are now looking for additional Field Service Engineers to become part of their long-established field service team throughout the UK.

After an initial training period, as a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be based from home and responsible for:

  • Preventative maintenance inspections
  • Reactive maintenance, service, and breakdown repair of fuel pumping and dispensing equipment throughout the Home Counties and local region, working to strict SLA’s.

You will ideally be a time-served Mechanical or Electrical Engineer, Vehicle or Plant Mechanic, able to demonstrate a proven track record of working within a field service, workshop, or multi-skilled maintenance engineering capacity. Experience in the reactive maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment such as pumps, motors, and valves is essential, as well as basic electrical fault finding using handheld test equipment.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be expected to be on-call 1 in 3 weekends. Individuals who have had some exposure to hydraulics and 3 phase electrical systems are desirable.
