This is an opportunity for an ambitious and trend lead outerwear designer to join a private label business. Reporting in to the head of design and working closely with your account manager and wider team, you will be responsible for designing the women's outerwear range, both casual and formal, with the opportunity to cross over into men's also.
Day to day you will be researching the market via international shopping trips to remain aware of and implementing direction and innovation across the outerwear product area; creating on-trend designs for the showroom and in response to briefs; producing accurate and detailed CADs to present to buyers and technical packs for product development and communicating effectively with sourcing teams globally.
The role will suit a confident and tenacious outerwear specialist, experienced in designing for the fashion forward street, and a desire to lead the outerwear product area.
