An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of a small friendly team which provides procurement support to the entire pharmacy team. Demonstrable experience working in financial, procurement, or a pharmacy role would be a distinct advantage for this role, and the applicant would need strong mathematical skills due to the financial aspects of the role. Applicants would also need to be able to support the goods in function, which will sometimes involve the receipt and storage of cumbersome loads.
Main duties of the job include:
- Support the Lead Technician and Senior Technician - Pharmacy Procurement with facilitating price changes
- Process Pharmacy orders and assist with the receipt of stock
- Support the Procurement Manager with the development and progression of eCommerce
- Support with stock take activities relating to goods on Pallet store locations
- Support in the ordering, receipt and safe storage of all required medicines and clinical devices.
