Due to continual and increasing demand for our services, a new and exciting position has opened within our market leading Power Earthing Department. The ideal candidate for this role will be highly motivated with a passion to succeed, continually striving to better themselves both personally and professionally.
Role accountabilities:
- Earthing system measurements
- Earthing system surveys
- Conductive floor testing
- Soil resistivity surveys
- Periodic inspection of existing earthing systems
- Lightning protection risk assessment
- Continuity testing
Qualifications & Experience:
- Working knowledge of earthing system measurements
- Practical knowledge of earthing & lightning protection system standards
- Communicating complex technical or commercial issues to peers or senior managers
- Ability to develop working relationships quickly and effectively
- Experience in writing clear and concise documentation
- Flexibility to travel throughout the UK
- Well organized, attention to detail
- Work on own initiative and be proactive
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Fully acquainted with the usual Microsoft Office products
- CAD experience would be advantageous
- Good written and spoken English
- Technical report writing skills
- Full UK driving licence
