The Executive Office provides strategic support and executive assistance to our senior leadership at the heart of a leading global university.
We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Executive Assistant as maternity cover to provide comprehensive executive support to our Director, Professor Liam Smeeth.
You will manage the Director’s professional schedule, correspondence and international travel, as well as manage and support a range of projects. You must be highly experienced in executive support, including the ability to effectively manage complex itineraries in multiple global locations and have a good understanding of the national and global environments the Executive works in.
You should hold an undergraduate qualification at Higher Education level, or equivalent, and extensive experience of supporting a senior executive. You should be highly organised with the ability to plan, prioritise, multi-task and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You will be self-motivated, innovative, and have a strong work ethic. You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and be able to command the trust and confidence of a range of stakeholders including external and senior stakeholders.
The post is full time, 35 hours per week, 1 FTE and fixed-term for 1 year.
The salary will be on the Professional Services salary scale, Grade 5 in the range ÂŁ39,182 – ÂŁ44,847 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part-time staff. In addition to this, there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London.
