The Kids & Family side of Paramount is tasked with delivering the best kids & family entertainment globally as well as supporting the roll out of key franchise titles, our linear networks, streaming services, and FAST channels. With worldwide hits like SpongeBob SquarePants, PAW Patrol, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Dora - Paramount Kids & Family is the No. 1 destination for kids globally, we have a mission to ensure the world is a more playful place.

The creative team is the shop window, the voice of the brands, and often the audience's first look into the world of Paramount Kids & Family. It's our responsibility to ensure we showcase our characters and content in a way that entices kids to take action - to watch a new series, to be excited by our Paramount+ offering, and to come back for more!

What will you be doing?

  • Creating promotional campaigns for UK & International Markets - from initial concept, scripting, editing, directing graphics/audio and voice over sessions to final delivery of versioned promos.
  • Ensure the promotional campaigns are aligned to the brand's tone of voice and connect our biggest shows and franchises to the audience, enticing them to engage, watch, and subscribe.
  • Work closely with the media planning and marketing teams, ensuring all creative aspects of campaigns are aligned across on air, print, digital out of home and radio.
  • Direct kids & talent when necessary on creative projects.
  • Ensure each campaign aligns to the creative brief, and drives campaign success - adjusting and shifting where necessary.
  • Conceive and develop new and exciting ideas to promote the brand through image pieces, IDs, and interstitial content.
  • Responsible for sourcing and reporting all music used within promotional campaigns.
  • Archive old projects on a job-by-job basis, ensuring all GFX, edits and OMF's are easily sourced when needed.
  • Mentoring the junior colleagues and collaborating on their projects.
  • Ensure the delivery of all given projects are timely and in budget.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven and varied experience in scripting, directing and editing promotional campaigns in the UK & Europe, with a very strong show-reel.
  • Excellent copy writing skills for short form promotion.
  • Solid knowledge of Adobe Premiere (self operating) with a strong understanding of 3D/2D animation and graphic design.
  • Directing skills - ability to direct on screen talent, voice over artists, and graphics designers.
  • Ability to understand research insights and how to use those to inform the creative approach to a promotional campaign.
  • A good understanding of the post-production environment - timings, costs, and talent available.
  • Ability to make funny & entertaining promos for a discerning and demanding audience.
  • Currently in a similar role within a TV environment.

  • Understanding of how an in house creative team works, and what departments are key collaborators & partners.
  • Great command of English language.
  • Experience of working on kids brands / IP is desirable.
  • Ability to prioritise and problem solve independently.
