Management Accountant – £40,000 to £50,000 per year – Bracknell, Berkshire – (4 days in the office)

FryerMiles are delighted to be working with a leading technology company to assist in the recruitment of a Management Accountant to join their team in Bracknell.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for full month-end preparation, journal entries, payroll management, and supporting the transactional function. Additionally, you will spearhead the implementation of robust month-end processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing the month-end close including posting journals and preparation of management accounts (income statement & balance sheet).
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist the Financial Manager with the preparation of the monthly accounts, board reports, and departmental reviews.
• Management of the Business Central (accounts payable and receivable and general ledger), with appropriate supervision and guidance to the finance team.
• Daily monitoring of bank accounts and cash-flow management including weekly payment runs.
• Completing statutory returns for Companies House, HMRC etc including completing VAT returns, EC Sales List, and Intrastat reporting as appropriate.
• Assist with the preparation of business plans, forecasts, and function budgets.
• Assisting the Finance Manager and Finance Director with the preparation of the year-end financial statements and audit.

Hybrid Working:

• 4 days in-office, 1 day remote

Required Skills:

• Previous experience in a busy and fast-growing organisation
• ACCA or CIMA Qualified
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
• Systems and reporting enhancement capabilities / experience.
