Working closely with procurement and manufacturing teams, you will be instrumental in developing and improving supplier capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct management system and process audits to qualify and approve new suppliers.
  • Manage supplier relationships through New Product Introduction (NPI), ensuring compliance with project deadlines, APQP, and PPAP approvals.
  • Schedule and execute regular supplier audits to maintain approval status based on risk assessment.
  • Implement the Supplier Quality Manual and provide training to help suppliers achieve IATF 16949/VDA 6.3 compliance.
  • Act as the primary interface between the company and suppliers, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
  • Monitor and report Supplier Quality KPIs, working proactively to enhance performance.
  • Oversee supplier corrective and preventive actions, defect management, and change control processes.
  • Support supplier visits, development programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

  • HNC / HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • IATF/VDA experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, ideally within the automotive sector, mechanical engineering, electronics, or high-volume manufacturing.
  • Experience working with and managing supplier relationships would be ideal.
