The PMO Lead Role
As we continue our mission to be the market-leading underwriting software platform for agile insurers, we are excited to kick off the search for a PMO Lead. This pivotal role reflects the growth and complexity of our client base, requiring a strategic leader to oversee a portfolio of customer delivery projects from estimation through to production implementation and handover. The PMO Lead will play a critical role in ensuring we deliver quality and value to our customers, across the UK and US, by leading the PMO function, setting strategic direction and overseeing all aspects of project management governance in collaboration with the Delivery Leads. In this role you will be responsible for improving and maintaining project management standards, providing support and guidance to delivery teams, monitoring project progress against defined metrics, and ensuring alignment with organisational objectives; essentially acting as a central hub for project management best practices and oversight. This role also involves data collection, analysis, and reporting on project performance, fostering a high-performance culture, and building strong partnerships with Delivery Managers. What You’ll Be Doing as a PMO Lead
- Responsible for establishing, maintaining and overseeing project management standards, governance and delivery frameworks across the UK and US delivery organisation.
- The role ensures consistent project delivery methods, effective resource management and strategic alignment of projects with business objectives.
Key responsibilities:
- Governance & Standards: Develop and maintain project management methodologies and standards that align to the ‘Send delivery playbook’. Establish and enforce project governance framework for our internal delivery teams and leverageable by our accredited delivery partners. Create and maintain project templates and delivery approach material for pre-sales and delivery. Support Head of Customer Solutions in ensuring that delivery teams comply with architectural governance.
- Financial Management: Support Delivery Managers and our Finance team in simplifying the tracking of project budgets and financial performance. Prepare financial reports and forecasts, identify further delivery margin opportunities.
- Resource Management: Oversee resource allocation across projects and monitor capacity. Support Portfolio Delivery Manager in forecasting resource needs across new client demand.
- Performance reporting and analysis: Facilitate project status reporting, tracking against key metrics and highlighting key updates for Send Leadership team. Ensure Client and SI delivery partner Quarterly Business Reviews are scheduled with quality preparation and content. Conduct project audits and reviews to ensure adherence to established quality standards and best practices. Monitor project risks and issues and developing contingency plans in collaboration with delivery teams.

- Extensive Project Management and PMO Experience: Proven ability to implement project management standards, monitor project progress against defined metrics, and ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
- Governance & Compliance: Experience in establishing and maintaining project governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with SaaS environments, cloud technologies, or enterprise software to better support Agile delivery.
- Exceptional Stakeholder Engagement: Confidence and capability in managing relationships with senior management, executives, and external delivery partners.
- Expert Communicator: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic Risk Management: Expertise in identifying risk and collaborating with Delivery Managers to formulate mitigation actions.

- Budgeting & Financial Oversight: Understanding of project financials, including cost control, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Analytical & Reporting Skills: Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to clearly communicate critical and key information via various reporting and communication channels.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to assimilate volume of incoming information from complex projects, focusing on small and important details to produce accurate work.
- PMO Tools Specialist: Proficient in project management and reporting software tools.
