The Company is a market leader in innovation, revolutionising the food and drink industry through cutting-edge product development and consumer insights. They are now seeking a driven and creative Innovation Specialist / Product Developer to join their growing team and help shape the future of food!

The Role

Reporting directly to the Senior Innovation Manager, you will play a key role in helping to manage client partnerships, work on new product development projects and support innovation programmes. You will be responsible for executing a wide variety of tasks, from product ideation through to delivery. This includes consumer research, hands-on concept development, SOP creation, recipe formatting and supplier briefings. You will work on multiple project workstreams across different clients and product sectors, collaborating to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard.

The Person

We are looking for an ambitious junior product developer / junior development chef eager to transition into a broad innovation role with a highly knowledgeable and supportive team. You’ll have a background in the Culinary Arts or a related field such as Food Science/Food Marketing and some experience of developing products that are in line with food and consumer trends. You will thrive in the innovation kitchen as well as in front of customers where you can engage them with your ideas. Strong project management skills are key, along with excellent communication abilities for working with clients, suppliers and internal teams. A keen interest in consumer research, market trends and proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint will be highly beneficial. A genuine love for food and drink, along with a desire to shape the industry, is essential.
