Williams Lea seeks a Senior Digital Designer to join our team!
Williams Lea is the leading global provider of skilled, technology-enabled, business-critical support services, with long-term trusted relationships with blue-chip clients across investment banks, law firms and professional services firms.
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Graphic Designer to develop advanced design solutions for both print and digital media. In this role, you will lead the design process independently at our London client site while collaborating with US-based colleagues, including a Creative Director and a Senior Presentation Operator. As the team works on US time (starting at 2 PM UK time), the ideal candidate must be a strong self-starter, self-driven, and capable of managing projects autonomously for the majority of their shift. This position requires on-site work five days a week, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to the growth of our global operations. This position involves extensive work in Microsoft PowerPoint, with a primary focus on creating and designing corporate presentations. Proven experience in developing high-quality, professional presentations is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and create both online and offline marketing materials, such as campaigns, direct mail, brochures, print and banner ads, product sheets, and PowerPoint presentations
- Collaborate closely with clients and/or project management teams to understand business needs and develop effective design solutions
- Take ownership of the design and production of a diverse range of graphic, print, and digital media to support client objectives
- Develop and execute comprehensive multimedia campaigns
- Explore and implement fresh, innovative design solutions that push the boundaries of client branding
- Manage design limitations and client expectations by educating stakeholders on design restrictions when necessary
- Ensure all work is visually compelling and meets specified requirements
- Maintain a high standard of design quality, adhering to brand guidelines and specifications
- Uphold brand consistency while introducing fresh and creative approaches across digital and print output
- Provide effective visual solutions by taking the lead on executing creative requests and projects
- Work independently, assuming responsibility for complex design projects
- Maintain client brand integrity and carry through client requirements to the broader team
- Take the lead on more complex creative design projects and assignments
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor\’s degree in Digital Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in graphic design and presentations
- Advanced knowledge of design principles and their application
- Ability to storyboard and develop visual ideas throughout the creative process
- Strong conceptual creative skills, including layout, aesthetic design, and typography
- Proven experience in creating campaigns and adapting the design across various marketing materials
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under strict layout controls
- Strong verbal communication skills, dependable, detail-oriented, and well-organized
- Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint presentation skills
- Proficiency in the latest Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint
- Web design experience is a plus
- Experience working in an agency and/or corporate environment is preferred
- Highly motivated, organized, and flexible
- Ability to work effectively in a small team environment while operating independently
Note : This role requires the ability to work independently, particularly during the hours of the US team\’s working day, which starts at 2 PM UK time. A self-driven mindset is essential to succeed in this role.
