Leading regional law firm is seeking to appoint a Newly Qualified Commercial Litigation Solicitor to their team in the Midlands. The role offers an excellent starting salary, comprehensive benefits, a clear career progression path, and flexible/hybrid working arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and contribute to the commercial litigation department.
- Handle a caseload involving shareholder disputes, contentious probate, building disputes, professional negligence, and partnership disputes.
- Work directly with partners and be proactive in your career development.
- Manage all aspects of commercial litigation, including disclosure, case management, drafting witness statements, and attending trials.
- Participate in settlements, arbitration, and mediation.
Candidate Profile
- Genuine passion for Commercial Litigation with some experience in all aspects of the field.
- Experience within a national or regional law firm preferred.
- Ability to handle a mixed caseload and build a regional network.
- Business development skills and a proactive approach to marketing in the local area.
- Proven experience advising UK and international clients, including corporations, governments, and high-net-worth individuals.
