The role
As Portfolio Management Office Lead (PMO Lead) youâll lead, embed, and facilitate the Change and Transformation Framework, i.e. âthe system of changeâ, balancing the requirement for rigour and controls with proportionate, facilitative governance, underpinned by a high standard of portfolio reporting and insight. Youâll be integral to building a culture of continuous improvement, providing facts, data and insight across the system of change, identifying and adopting changes that result in efficiencies, improved quality and alignment with best practice, enabling the articulation and measurement of business outcomes and how value flows through the system. Youâll be key to driving consistency, predictability, and efficiency of the BG transformation and change capability, driving best practice, adherence to standards, and ensuring continuous improvement is native to how the portfolio operates.
Youâll help us make health happen by:
- Leading on developing and maintaining delivery and governance standards across the Portfolio, driving business and delivery agility, ensuring these standards are adhered to through peer review and process confirmation.
- Ensuring the provision of a high standard of data accuracy, quality and âgood housekeepingâ across the suite of software tools underpinning portfolio delivery, ensuring âsingle picture of the truthâ and data fidelity.
- Providing developmental support and effective performance management across the PMO function.
- Establishing and maintaining strong, effective, and trusted relationships with key stakeholders across Bupa Global, and wider Bupa businesses.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
- Proven track record of operating in a diverse, scaled, change delivery environment.
- Well-developed Leadership and people management skills.
- Experience of capability development through a range of tools and techniques e.g. coaching, mentoring, capability mapping, maturity models.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy, strive to identify and drive business improvement.
- Hold a recognised change delivery and/or portfolio management qualification e.g. MoP, APMP, PRINCE2, Agile Project Management or equivalent.
- Familiarity with the use and optimisation of Portfolio Management software and tooling.
