Description

The Construction Solicitor will be:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of construction agreements (NEC, JCT, Collateral Warranties, Highways, Drainage).
  • Handling minor construction disputes and working with external counsel where needed.
  • Managing relationships with external legal panel solicitors.
  • Advising internal stakeholders on legal and regulatory matters.
  • Supporting the business with wider commercial agreements.

Profile

The Construction Solicitor should be:

  • A qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with 4+ years of commercial/construction experience.
  • Experienced in drafting and negotiating NEC, JCT, Collateral Warranties, Highway, and Drainage agreements.
  • Able to provide clear, commercial legal advice to non-legal stakeholders.
  • Confident in managing external legal panels and working independently.
