AirX Jet Support Limited is a UK registered EASA Part-145 MRO maintaining the fleet of our parent company AirX. We are well versed in the maintenance requirement for aircraft owners and operators. Our approach to all maintenance tasks is underpinned by engineering experience. We aim to ensure that aircraft are returned to service on schedule and the work is finished to the highest standard. AXJS supplies maintenance and related services to AirX and third party operator aircraft based out of Diamond Hangar at Stansted Airport.
Role
The Aircraft Mechanic shall be responsible to ensure that the work carried out meets quality standards, and aircraft are safe and airworthy.
Duties
- Perform Base scheduled/unscheduled Maintenance & Modifications on customer aircraft.
- Ensure compliance with all procedures associated with the Base Maintenance.
- Report any technical issues, discrepancies, or other issues to the Hangar Superintendent/Deputy Base Manager.
- Ensure all planned aircraft work is carried out as scheduled and liaise with Hangar Superintendent and Technical Services to maximise our customers’ downtime.
- Ensure all aircraft paperwork and work packs are completed accurately, within prescribed timescales and in conjunction with the Hangar Superintendent.
- Undertake any reasonable activities in support of our maintenance operation.
Who are we looking for:
- EASA / UK-CAA Part-66 Category A Licence (preferable) and have the ability to demonstrate at least 6 months recent experience on Embraer 145 and/or Challenger 604 /605 / 850 (CRJ200).
- Experience of working in a fast-paced Line or Base Maintenance environment.
- High level of communication skills, both in verbal and written form and the ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including different shift patterns.
- Candidates must have the right to live and work in United Kingdom.
