We are on the hunt for an experienced Data Management Specialist, with solid experience in data migration, data warehouses and reporting to join a fabulous organisation based in Central London and head up the Data team. Joining a well-established and successful organisation, the Head of Data Management will drive the long-term data strategy to ensure a data-centric approach is taken by the entire company.
Suitable candidates will be tech savvy with a keen interest in AI and the ability to grasp new and evolving technology quickly and efficiently. Experience leading data teams is essential for this challenging and fast-paced role.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and delivering the data strategy for the entire organisation
- Managing all data related projects
- Leading a team of data specialists
- Establishing and facilitating suitable data governance framework
- Maintaining data security and mitigating risk
- Supporting GDPR compliance
- Managing data reporting and analytics
- Implementing and managing best practice procedures and good data management
What we’re looking for:
- Extensive senior level experience in data management including data migration, data warehouses and reporting
- Strong team leader experience in a fast-paced, professional services environment
- Excellent technology skills and a keen interest in AI
- A degree / qualification in a relevant subject is advantageous (IT, Computer Science, Information Security etc)
- Data lifecycle management knowledge
- Knowledge and experience of meeting data governance requirements
- Solid knowledge of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act
- Excellent project management capabilities
- Strategic and innovative approach
- Excellent communication skills at all levels and with non-technical colleagues
- Forward-thinking and collaborative approach
- Good commercial acumen
- The ability to quickly gain credibility, be a data management expert and influence at a senior level
