We're looking for a General Manager for a food led community pub. Salary up to £45k plus bonus and a generous benefits package. Marston’s is one of the UK’s largest and most beloved pub chains and today, we operate more than 1,300 pubs, bars and hotels. Now, we’re on the lookout for a great General Manager to take charge at the Red Kite, Cardiff and lead the team to success!

About the pub
The Red Kite is a recently refurbished food-led community pub. Inside there is a central bar inclusive of drinking area, with a main, more formal, dining area to left and relaxed cosy dining area to right, perfect for hosting larger, private dining occasions. Outside there is a fully covered, large external patio with seating to front of building and balcony seating to left of building. The Red Kite also benefits from a large car park. Located in the heart of a vibrant and densely populated residential area, the Red Kite is a true community hub. A popular destination venue with excellent transport links to Caerphilly town centre and key routes to Cardiff and surrounding areas catering for a broad guest demographic from local residents, families of all ages and guests celebrating special occasions.
The successful general manager will be dynamic and customer focused. Previous experience within a high volume food environment would be beneficial, and will have the passion to continue to drive the success of this thriving and valued community venue. Management accommodation is available on the first floor above the pub; with three bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and living area.
