The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are looking for a highly experienced Lift Engineer to join our team and hit the ground running. You will be responsible for initially assessing our existing lift portfolio, focusing on our residential sites. You will also be identifying areas for improvement and making expert recommendations. You will collaborate closely with our contracted lift maintenance providers to ensure optimal service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of our existing lifts, identifying maintenance needs, compliance issues, and opportunities for improvements.
  • Provide technical recommendations to enhance lift performance, reliability, and safety.
  • Work closely with external lift maintenance contractors, ensuring they meet service level agreements (SLAs) and deliver high-quality work.
  • Support in reviewing maintenance contracts and ensuring value for money from service providers.
  • Assist in managing major lift refurbishments and modernisation projects.
  • Ensure compliance with UK regulations and industry standards (e.g., LOLER, EN81, British Standards).
  • Liaise with contracted companies for swift resolution of urgent lift related matters.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in lift engineering from a number of suppliers including MacPuarsa, Stannah, Kleeman, Kollmorgen.
  • Strong technical knowledge of lift systems, maintenance, and repair processes.
  • Strong understanding of UK lift regulations, compliance standards, and health & safety laws.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Lift Engineering, LEIA membership) are highly desirable.
  • Full UK Driving License and own personal vehicle are highly desirable for the role.
