At Tech Balance, our mission is to become the world’s leading student wellbeing solution. We’re backed by the UK’s Innovation Agency, named one of the Top 50 Most Innovative Tech Businesses in Essex, and recently completed a successful research study with Kingston University showing strong student engagement and measurable impact. Operating as a remote team of six, we’re now preparing our first rollouts with universities in the UK and US. This is a unique opportunity to shape a mission-driven product at a pivotal stage—you won’t just write code; you’ll help define how universities support student wellbeing at scale.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain mobile features using React Native
- Manage app state using Redux
- Integrate backend services with Firebase
- Test and debug iOS and Android builds
- Collaborate with the team to shape new features
Skills & Experience
- 2+ years’ experience with React Native, and TypeScript
- 1+ years’ experience with Redux, Firebase
- Experience building and testing apps for both iOS and Android
- Solid understanding of mobile development and debugging
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset
