A detail-oriented CAD Operator with a passion for precision and problem-solving is required to produce accurate transport arrangement drawings, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of abnormal loads. This role will primarily be onsite at the client's office local to Redditch with some occasional home working available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create 2D AutoCAD drawings illustrating load arrangements on trailers.
- Work closely with internal teams to meet specific project requirements.
- Use specialist software to calculate axle loadings and ensure compliance.
- Assist in structural detailing related to transport configurations.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of drawings to support permit applications (which can take up to 12 weeks).
- Provide additional CAD support as required.
Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D (Light version preferred).
- Experience in structural detailing, ideally within the civil sector.
