JOB PURPOSE
To carry out Hoist Installations, Dismantles, Variation works Periodic Inspections and Test in line with the relevant regulations, Manufacturers Guidelines and company policies. To take a lead role when working with a Trainee or less experienced operative. You will receive a competitive pay rate + travel costs. Work will be in and around the London region. Must be flexible and willing to travel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working within the method statement, carry out installations and dismantling of hoists.
- Ensuring that documentation is complete and correct before works are carried out and submitted to office in good condition, on time.
- Follow all reasonable instructions received by the Supervisor/Line Manager.
- Liaise with Line Manager/Supervisor with end of day works that have been carried out or any problems or delays that occur or are foreseen.
- Carry out inspections and tests on hoists as required.
- Liaise with clients in a professional manner as when and where required.
- Site visits before requested works are carried out (when required).
- Ensure daily worksheets are completed and signed for.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in a safe manner.
- Actively promote health and safety.
- Responsible for ensuring that daily worksheets are completed and submitted to the Office Manager promptly and within the required timescale.
