Distinguished, insurance defense litigation firm is looking for experienced PENNSYLVANIA BODILY INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE DEFENSE Litigation Attorneys to join their downtown PHILLY team.
THIS IS A HYBRID WORK-FROM-HOME ROLE – WE ALLOW WORKING FROM HOME 2 DAYS PER WEEK (3 days “in office” required).
***IDEAL Candidates have 2+ years experience in PA Bodily Injury Defense or Property Damage Litigation***
DUTIES : reviewing and analyzing new files from assignment by the adjuster, drafting pleadings, motions, issuing written discovery, answering discovery, review and analysis of medical records/bills to identify damages, deposition prep, depositions, arguing motions, attending court hearings, mediations, trials, client phone calls, and regularly preparing comprehensive status reports to the clients. Should have experience with expert witness depositions and preparing for same. Should also have trial experience or at least “trial prep” experience.
BILLING: We have a far lower billable hour requirement than most insurance defense firms as our compensation is performance-driven. We only require 1,875 billable hours per year to earn your base salary (156 hours per month). We offer a tiered bonus system for hours beyond this threshold and pay out bonuses of anywhere between $1k to $3k each month based on billing tiers above and beyond 156 per month. Our bonus structure is much stronger than most other law firms in FL and our employees love earning more each month for billing above a billable hour requirement that’s already far below most other firms.
