My client is an award winning integrated marketing agency based in Guildford and they are looking to recruit an Events Administrator on a temp basis for around a couple of months. Although based in their Guildford office, the business also supports home working via their Hybrid Working policy. However, you must be able to work in the office 2/3 days a week and these days will be agreed with my client. You will also be required to attend build up and breakdown of the event as well as being on site during the event.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Proactively support the Events Team on delivering our largest event, thriving under pressure and tight deadlines
- Assist in vetting registration applications and admin duties on the registration platform
- Taking over responsibility for delegate pass bookings
- Chasing sponsors for final details
- Proofreading printed material
- Answer any questions from sponsors regarding delegate passes/details for the day
- Credit Control for any outstanding invoices
- Manning registration desk on the event day, taking new registration
- Help the team with event logistics
- Picking up the phone and calling delegates to confirm their attendance
- Work with the Events Team to create a sustainable approach to event delivery
- Pro-actively support the operations department and any of the other departments as and when required
- Pays attention in meetings to ensure they are informed and up to date
- Immediately escalates issues that come to your attention
