Company Summary:
A leading Rolling Stock Engineering Business offering a comprehensive range of refurbishment, maintenance, overhaul, engineering support, project management and repair services to the UK rail and light rail sector.
Position Summary:
- Overhaul, maintenance, examination and repair of rail vehicles and rolling stock
- Stripping and building safety critical components in accordance with technical drawings
- Fault finding and repair on mechanical components - e.g. bogies, brake actuators, axles etc.
- Door gear removal, overhaul, refit and test
Person Profile:
- Experience within an engineering background, ideally within rail/heavy vehicle maintenance
- Ideally have an NVQ level 3 within engineering
- Ideally have mechanical modification experience on rail vehicles / rolling stock maintenance experience
