Senior Legal Counsel - Regulatory Legal

As a member of the Products & Regulatory Legal Group, you will work closely with Apple’s engineering, operations, government affairs and marketing teams, as well as with other teams in Apple Legal. With passion, dedication, and a desire to tackle challenges, you will play a crucial role as we provide the legal support needed for Apple to continue to build cutting-edge technologies.

Description: You will join a team of attorneys in the Products & Regulatory Legal Group who advise Apple’s engineering, business and government affairs teams on complex regulatory issues. You will analyze the applicability of regulations to various Apple services, manage and coordinate the internal workstreams within Apple Legal and interact with important stakeholders such as the European Commission and other regulators. Your focus will be on platform regulations in the EMEIA region (such as the Digital Markets Act), as well as on certain other regulations such as the Data Act and the Artificial Intelligence Act. The work requires outside-the-box thinking, versatility, and creative approaches to legal issues. You will collaborate with other legal groups, Apple government affairs and cross-functional business and engineering teams. You will also advise Apple management on risk allocation/mitigation, business strategies, and policies. Location can be discussed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5-8+ years of experience on regulatory matters, such as competition law, digital markets/platform regulations or privacy/data laws, at major law firm, in-house or regulatory authority.
• Experience interpreting privacy/data laws, competition laws and European regulations is a plus.
