About the Role: Our client’s Natural Resources team works across Clean Energy (wind, solar, hydrogen, hydroelectric, and nuclear), Decarbonisation, Mining, and Oil & Gas. They help build trust between clients, suppliers, governments, and communities by delivering projects that make a real impact. Our client is looking for a Planner to support a clean energy project. This role involves creating project schedules, tracking progress, analysing risks, and providing performance insights to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop work breakdown structures and set up clear project baselines.
- Establish progress monitoring and reporting frameworks.
- Create S-curves, manpower histograms, and critical path analyses.
- Conduct schedule risk analysis and explore ‘what-if’ scenarios.
- Prepare project control reports, providing performance analysis and recommendations.
What Our Client is Looking For:
- Extensive experience in project controls for large capital projects in the energy sector.
- Experience in onshore piping, process facilities, and gas-to-power or gas compression projects.
- Worked across all phases of major projects, from concept to execution.
- Proven experience developing EPC schedules for major projects.
- Ability to provide analysis as projects move from FEED to FID and execution.
- Experience with Integrated Master Schedules.
- UK construction experience (preferred).
- Strong communication skills, able to work with different teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Oracle Primavera, MS Project, and Excel.
- Able to work independently, follow processes, and adapt to changing project needs.
