The Team This firm’s Antitrust, Competition, and Trade team provides top-quality advice on EU and UK mergers, investigations, competition litigation, public procurement, sanctions, and more. The Role As a Professional Support Lawyer (PSL), you will shape and execute the knowledge strategy for the competition team. You’ll provide high-quality know-how resources, monitor legal developments, and deliver internal and external training. Your contributions will support business development initiatives and leverage emerging technologies like AI for innovative legal solutions. Key Responsibilities : Know-how and Resources : Develop and maintain up-to-date templates, checklists, and core team resources. Monitor and analyse legal trends, preparing in-depth research for client initiatives. Drive knowledge-sharing through newsletters and optimize the team’s internal knowledge platform. Training : Design and deliver training on competition law developments. Coordinate trainee and new joiner onboarding programs. Foster effective use of firm-wide knowledge tools. Business Development : Create client-facing materials and thought leadership content. Collaborate with business development teams on client-focused initiatives, presentations, and pitch support. Support innovation and technology projects benefiting clients. About You The team is looking for someone proactive, adaptable, and collaborative, with a passion for legal developments and the evolving regulatory landscape. This role is ideal for an experienced PSL or senior lawyer seeking a knowledge-focused role in private practice. Key Qualifications : Senior Associate or equivalent experience in UK and EU competition law (e.g., merger control, investigations, abuse of dominance, subsidy control, State aid, procurement).
