We’re recruiting on behalf of a successful company on the Fylde coast (Blackpool), who are looking to bring a Accounts Assistant on board to join their supportive team. This new role has been introduced due to recent expansion and will be responsible for transactional duties, providing a great opportunity to enhance your skills in a positive, growth-focused environment.
As Accounts Assistant your duties will include:-

Overseeing all sales ledger activities.

Completing the month-end reports and performing reconciliations for sales and purchase ledgers.

Managing the cash book, including posting receipts, payments and conducting daily bank reconciliations.

Processing all purchase ledger transactions, including issuing payments and reconciling supplier statements.

Managing credit control, processing payments, setting up new customer accounts, and coordinating with the sales team.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a similar role with strong communication skills. They should be a good communicator with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset along with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and a great team! This role is fully office based in Blackpool.
