Singh & Jones are working with an innovative and forward Design Consultancy, who have a wealth of experience within design and engineering of SFS, Light Gauge Steel Framing, Structural Steelwork (Hot Rolled) and Modular Build projects across the UK. The Tekla Designer - (hybrid) role will report directly to the Design Manager and your duties will include:
- The Tekla Designer will produce Tekla GA models from client’s drawings for the production of preliminary material lists, fabrication and fitting drawings.
- In addition to this, the right candidate will be adept in producing modular volumetric designs.
- Ensure that all models and drawings are delivered in line with project fabrication programme.
- Check your own work to ensure all modelling and drawings are produced to the highest of standards and quality.
- Attend Site Surveys.
- Work as part of a team and provide support to other members of the Drawing Office and other departments as required for the successful delivery of projects.
- Managing and mentoring junior designers.
