A Chertsey based architectural practice, specialising in the high-end residential sector, is looking to hire a Part II Architectural Assistant to join their friendly and talented team. Their portfolio includes extensions, new build homes and sympathetic work to listed buildings or those in conservation areas. Their work has a high design integrity and can often be technically interesting in its nature.
Whilst the ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the full design process, the majority of your work will be at the technical delivery stages (RIBA Workstages 4 to 5). You will need to be adept at producing construction drawing packages and detailed designs. You will be using AutoCAD on a daily basis and therefore proficiency would be highly advantageous. Itβs essential to have a solid understanding of construction, specific to the residential sector. This role would also suit an Architectural Technician or Technologist.
You will be working in a supportive environment with a culture that encourages learning and staff development. The management are more than willing to invest time to expand your knowledge and experience. The nature of the practice will give you a fantastic amount of exposure to the projects you work on.
