Phoenix Solutions & Consulting have partnered with a leading Global OEM who are seeking a qualified NDT Level II Inspector to join in their Manchester based facility. The successful candidate is required to have EN4179 OR NAS410 certification for Radiographic Testing (RT) and Dye Penetrant Testing (PT / PFD) to support their commitment to quality and safety. You will be responsible for carrying out visual, PFD and x-ray NDT, ensuring our fabricated components meet stringent specifications and customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform NDT inspection using techniques such as visual weld inspection, radiographic testing and dye penetrant testing.
- Interpret test results to assess the integrity and quality of welds and fabricated components.
- Ensure all inspections comply with relevant industry standards, customer specifications, and company procedures.
- Maintain detailed inspection records and generate comprehensive reports.
- Collaborate with the fabrication and welding teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Stay updated with the latest NDT technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Certified to EN4179/NAS410 standards in relevant NDT methods (Level II or higher preferred).
- Proven experience in NDT inspection within the welding and fabrication industry.
- Familiarity with quality standard AS9100.
