Duties: It's a professional environment. You’ll be based from home and provided with all the specialist equipment & technology necessary. You’ll be visiting our customers across the region, conducting the following:
- Routine crane servicing & warranty work.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues on customer sites.
- Performing thorough examinations / LOLER inspections and necessary compliance checks.
- Providing technical support to customers.
Training: We offer a comprehensive manufacturer training schedule that builds on your knowledge and develops you into an experienced Palfinger Field Service Engineer. We’re also committed to future-proof your skills, and training continues throughout your career with us as you’ll become an electrical and diagnostic expert.
Our ideal applicant: You're an existing field service engineer with mechanical, hydraulic & electrical experience maintaining similar equipment such as construction plant, agricultural machinery, cranes, Forklifts, Talilifts etc. Ideally applicants should hold a recognised apprenticeship, C&G or NVQ in a relevant discipline. A full UK driving licence is essential.
